Website Officially Online

Well, it took far longer than I would have liked, but the Sapphire Nexus is officially live and findable! That is both exciting and extraordinarily… nerve-wracking. On one hand, it means that all my hard work is starting to pay off. On the other, it means that people on the internet can now come along and let me know that everything I’ve worked so hard for is garbage! Hooray for the internet!

But seriously, with the Sapphire Nexus online, I will hopefully now be provided weekly updates and working to update the website in various ways. For starters, there are pieces of the website that used to exist that I got rid of for the sake of finishing it, such as the timeline. You can also anticipate the Short Stories segment and Gallery to be updated from time to time. Those with keen eyes will note that there are two placeholders already present on Short Stories alongside the Sapphire Destiny. While I won’t spoil either of them yet, they are both stories that lead into the Sapphire Verdict for three of the more prominent characters, two of which are fairly calm, and the third… well, let’s just say that Vargoth isn’t known for compassion.

With this site finished, the path towards actually publishing my work begins, and I anticipate a small flow of traffic over the coming year that will hopefully grow over time. In the meantime, I will start turning this website into a collection for all of my thought vomit, which might also include stuff from stories that aren’t the Sapphire Universe. I wanted to keep this first true blog post short, but next week’s could be a little lengthier. After all, I do think it would be rather interesting to discuss all the work that went into this site!
