The Krysheek
The Krysheek are a bipedal race of sentient wolf-like beings. They are a very ancient and colorful species, their people coming in every color of the rainbow except for blue, and have existed for thousands of years. Though once technologically advanced, a terrible war scarred their world and set them back to a time before technology, though recent times have seen them slowly beginning to bounce back. Despite being scattered all across their world, all Krysheek answer to the Crimson Emperor and the five Archons tasked with checking his power, a balance that has led to over a thousands years of peace and prosperity.

Automatons
Automatons are a curious race of machines constructed by the Krysheek people. Unlike other machines, they have the ability to think and feel thanks to the odd crystals that power them. Loyal to a fault, automatons wish only to fulfill a meaningful task they see as their purpose, often leading to them serving as laborers in Krysheek society. Though they are often looked down upon by the Krysheek, there are those amongst the Krysheek that understand just how full of life they truly are, and that they are destined for something far greater than almost anyone can imagine.
-
Powers
For thousands of years, all of the Krysheek people have been capable of wielding a mystical force they refer to as powers, ranging from elements such as fire or wind to more unusual abilities such as telekinetics or lunar weaponry. Through these powers, the Krysheek were able to conquer the primordial nature of their planet and make a life for themselves. Though all Krysheek have a power, there are those among them that are many magnitudes stronger than the rest, and their powers are capable of sundering entire continents.

Crystals
Quite unusual minerals, crystals are natural growths on the Krysheek homeworld with highly unusual properties. These crystals, when coupled correctly with machines, can perform incredible feats of strength. Some crystals are capable of spewing concentrated beams of fire, while others can achieve Levitation or communicate over long distances. Among these crystals, none are more powerful than the soul core, the strange crystals that contain the essence of an automaton within their smooth green forms.

The Clockwork Crisis
Over a thousand years ago, a terrible conflict scarred the Krysheek homeworld. Led by the Eclipse empire, a horde of automaton death machines was unleashed upon the world with devastating intent. they decimated huge swaths of the planet and almost succeeded in conquering it, but a heroic stand by the Archons of the time saw the tide turned against them and their legion defeated. In the wake of the Crisis, an air of technophobia settled over the Krysheek, leading to a long absence of technology in their lives and a lingering stigma against any machine.

Archons
Beings of immense power, the Archons are the watchers tasked with overseeing the sanctity of the Krysheek homeworld. Since the end of the Crisis, a total of five Archons have always kept watch over the world, stationing themselves at every corner and keeping tabs on all events so that if evil ever rears its head again, they will be ready to make a stand and protect their people. Amongst the Krysheek, the Archons are regarded as the ultimate heroes of legend, and can rest easy knowing their heroes are always on the job.
